We are not a travel agency, we don't book hotels for you or meet you at the airport when you arrive for the first time, we just handle the full residency process for you and get your Paraguayan Residency and Cédula issued quickly. When you need to attend an appointment at a government office here in Asunción, we will meet you there. It's very easy to get there yourself - just order an Uber, the same as you do anywhere else in the world.
If you require other services here in Asunción, such as opening a bank account, buying a property, or getting your children into a good school, we will either introduce you to someone we know who is a specialist at doing whatever it is you want, or point you in the right general direction. Our speciality is simply getting your Paraguay Residency and Cédula issued quickly and correctly.
The New Residency Rules
In July 2023, the Government of Paraguay implemented a new regulation which requires most nationalities to obtain a Visa from a Paraguayan Embassy or Consulate before starting the residency process. This is a relatively stragitforward process, and the new visa requirements are explained in more detail here.
In October 2022, the Government of Paraguay passed a new law which changed some aspects of the residency application process for foreign nationals. Among the changes are the removal of the requirement to put approximately USD 5,000 on deposit with the Central Bank of Paraguay, and the addition of a two-year temporary residency card being issued, after which it is converted to permanent residency.
Full details of all the current rules, requirements and processes are available on the Government of Paraguay's Migraciones Department website (in Spanish).

Success Stories
"We've hired immigration lawyers in several countries across three continents, and our experience with Ariel from Paraguay Residencia is the best of them all, by a large margin. Everything was easy, quick, and the communication was great at all times (and in English). Before finding Ariel, we had quotations from several other residency services in Asunción, many of them "agents" rather than lawyers, and their prices were a lot higher. One seemingly popular agent we found on social media wanted to charge my wife 75% more than me, just because she's from Asia, even though her home country issues documents in English just as the UK does... and even the quotation for me was 30% more than charged by Paraguay Residencia. We've met several people here who paid a similar price to us, and many people who paid a lot more, but many of them have had problems, taken ages to complete, not included the Cédula, or simply not been done at all. Ours was completed in just a few weeks. We're happy to highly recommend Paraguay Residencia."
